Dear Secretaries,
Attached below is the latest fines update. If your club does not appear on either of these lists then you have nothing to deal with at this time.
As previously advised, you have seven days from the notification of charge to do one of the following:
(i)               Accept the charge and submit in writing a case of mitigation for consideration by the Management Committee on the papers; or
(ii)              Accept the charge and notify that it wishes to put its case of mitigation at a hearing before the Management Committee; or
(iii)            Deny the charge and submit in writing supporting evidence for consideration by the Management Committee on the papers; or
(iv)            Deny the charge and notify that it wishes to put its case of mitigation at a hearing before the Management Committee
If you fail to do this within seven days then the charge will remain in place at the level of fine listed. Therefore, it is in your best interests to deal with these matters urgently.

The fines in the table below are due in full. I feel I must remind you as secretaries that payment is due by the date listed. If payment is late then the further charge is laid and payment is also due for that charge. Unfortunately, I cannot work with ‘the cheque is in the post’. Clubs have three weeks from the day the charge is listed to resolve the issue. To send payment after this and not to expect further charges is unacceptable. If the matter is dealt with quickly it saves all of us a fair bit of work and will, in most cases, save clubs money.
The fines listed below are now due for payment by the date listed. If your club is subject to a charge under Rule 5(I) and is not paid by the due date then you team/club will have it’s fixtures suspended by the end of that day. Having your fixtures suspended will result in another charge and fine along with further charges for any game not played while your team or club is under suspension.
Please note that there will not be an update next weekend, 9 December, as personal commitments will not make this possible.
Please deal with these charges immediately to save us reaching this position. If you believe I have made a mistake, please contact me ASAP to discuss this further.
